For the next generation of madres.
Working madre. Stay-at-home madre. Somewhere-in-between madre. This community is for you.
Hola! My name is Tatiana Rivera and I am a madre, a leader, a connector, a creator. Building community, fostering meaningful connections, and creating spaces where we feel seen and safe is my superpower.
Quiubo! I’m Tatiana
Madre started with a group text. But really, it started with one of the loneliest seasons of my life.
When I became a mother, I was also stepping into new leadership roles in the community and at work. The first few months were harder than anything I had navigated before. So I did what I do best: I connected with mamis.
For the next year, I organized a small group of new mamis: at parks, in cafes, in living rooms. The goal was simple: come as you are, be in community, remind each other we aren't alone. By the end of that year, we had celebrated first birthdays, cried together, and grown. The idea of Madre was already there. I was just too tired to build it.
Two years later, I'm still exhausted, but the need for community has only grown.
There is no rulebook handed down that covers your life, your family, your story. Madre is for the mamas writing their own rules. In Spanglish, in silence, in the middle of the night with a baby on one hip and a phone in the other hand, texting the group: "is this normal?"
Madre is for the mamas building their own path, making mistakes, laughing through the chaos, and showing up anyway. Whether you're navigating a career, stepping back from one, or redefining what that even means right now.
We're not here to be perfect. We're here to be real, to be together, and to remind each other that a village isn't something from the past. It's something we build right now, with each other.
