Here's Why I Speak to My Daughter in Spanish, Even If It's Not Perfect
My Spanish isn’t perfect.
Even now, I still mess up the grammar, get tongued-tied, or have to look up the Spanish word for dragonfly (it’s libélula).
But despite the imperfection, Spanish is my daughter’s inheritance too.
I'm not going to let my own insecurity get in the way of passing it to down her.
